Mapping SEVIS By The Numbers

The Department of Homeland Security released a really cool mapping tool for the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). This tool helps DHS maintain information and statistics and information on F and M students studying in the U.S. The data includes the students’ country of citizenship, school of attendance, college major and more. Information can be viewed at the continent, region and country level. The map also includes information on the gender and education level breakdown for students from each geographical area. If you are interested in learning how your region or country match up against the world in terms of students seeking higher education in the states, of if you are curious about the number of student who study the same major as you, check out this tool – Mapping SEVIS By The Numbers.
